 The Residency aims to build a powerful community of young Hip-Hop artists equipped with the artistic and leadership skills, business acumen, and mentorship necessary to become  professional artists and cultural change makers. Volunteers make a vital contribution to our aims. We recognise the added value that volunteers bring to our organization and community. Volunteer involvement in our organization helps us stay rooted in our community while we plant and foster the seeds within our youth through Hip-Hop.

We are looking for volunteers for the following events/programs:

  • Auditions

  • Writers Camp

  • Satellite Shows

  • Summer Intensive

  • Annual Fundraiser

  • Where The Heart Lives

Within The Residency, volunteers are involved in: 

  • Registration/check in 

  • Set up and tear down

  • Assisting with event production

  • Greeting and ushering event guest 

  • Program preparation and assistance

  • Assisting with vocal and production workshops

  • Attending to miscellaneous needs that may occur and much more!!

The Residency aims to have a reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationship with our volunteers; with their involvement informing and developing our work, and our work enabling individuals to learn skills and achieve personal development through their volunteering.
